Mayor Andre Sayegh Joins 319 Penn Development to Break Ground on $50 Million Revitalization Project in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ -

Mayor Andre Sayegh joined Abdul Hamdan and Murat Agirnasli of 319 Penn Development on Monday, to break ground on a $50 million development project at the former Passaic County Administration building on Pennsylvania Avenue. The project aims to revitalize the local area with retail space and luxury housing, and represents a significant investment in the city, officials said.

The project, which has been in the works for several years, has the potential to bring significant economic benefits to the city.

"We are positioning Paterson for progress," Sayegh said. "This is yet another example. This was an eyesore on this corner here and when we started, there were 1,200 abandoned properties, now there are fewer than 400. We're going to reduce that number even more with people like Abdul, there is only much more progress we can achieve together."

Abdul Hamdan and Murat Agirnasli, the developers behind the project, echoed the mayor's sentiments, highlighting the project's potential to attract new businesses and residents to the area.

"We are excited to be part of this project and to help bring new life to this part of the city," Hamdan said.

The project will include 300 parking spaces and 171 apartments.

"This will be the first of many that will bring flavor, hope and good taste to society," Agirnasli said. "I'm really excited, and I want to thank you for welcoming us to your family." PATERSON, NJ - Mayor Andre Sayegh joined Abdul Hamdan and Murat Agirnasli of 319 Penn Development on Monday, to break ground on a $50 million development project at the former Passaic County Administration building on Pennsylvania Avenue.
